Intellectual property
All content on this website — including product designs, candle concepts, text, photographs, graphics, product images, and branding — is the property of Harmony Lights Studio and is protected by copyright. You may not copy, reproduce, download (except for normal browsing), redistribute, or use any content from this site for commercial purposes without our written permission.
Products
Our candles are handmade in small batches, so slight variations in colour, finish, and scent strength are normal and part of their handmade character. Product photos show the actual products.
Pricing
All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). Prices may change without notice; the price charged is the price shown at checkout.
Privacy Policy
We collect only what we need to run the shop and take care of our customers. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who can see it.
What we collect:
- Orders: your name, email, shipping address, and order details, so we can fulfil and ship your purchase. Payments are processed securely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.
- Live chat: when you chat with us through the chat bubble on the website, we keep your name, email, and the conversation so we can reply and help you.
- Reviews: your name and review text are shown publicly once approved; your email address is kept private and used only if we need to reach you about your review.
- Shopping activity: when you view a candle, add it to your cart, or tap the heart to save it as a favourite, we record which product was chosen (without identifying you) so we can understand what customers love and improve the shop. We also note the country you are browsing from (for example, Canada or the USA) — never your exact location or IP address.
- On your device: your cart and favourites are saved in your browser's local storage so they are still there when you come back. You can clear them any time in your browser settings.
Who can see it: only the studio owner (Daniela) and our maker Rita, who helps run the shop, answer messages, and manage orders and reviews. We never sell your information and never share it with advertisers.
Security: our admin tools are password-protected, login attempts are limited, and checkout prices are always verified on our server before any payment is taken.
Affiliate links: in the future, some Candle Guide articles may contain affiliate links to products from other companies. When that happens, the article will clearly say so, for example: "Some links on this page may be affiliate links. If you purchase through one of these links, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you." There are no affiliate links on the website today, and our own candles always link directly to our shop — never through an affiliate link.
Cookies & analytics: this website does not use advertising cookies. Your cart, favourites, and chat session are stored only in your own browser (local storage) — we cannot see them. If we enable a website analytics service in the future, this policy will be updated to name it.
Advertising: there are no display ads on this website today. If we are ever approved for an advertising program, clearly marked ad spaces may appear inside Candle Guide articles only — never on the homepage, shop pages, product pages, cart, or checkout.
Your choices: write to us any time through the Contact page if you would like us to correct or delete your personal information.
Cookies: we use only the cookies and storage needed to run the shop (cart, favourites, checkout, security, and your cookie-consent choice). Optional analytics and advertising cookies stay off until you consent via our cookie banner. See our Cookie Policy for details, and use the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer to change your choice at any time.
Refunds & damaged orders
If your candle arrives damaged, contact us within 14 days with a photo and we will replace it or refund you. We cannot accept returns of used or burned candles.
